POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr. Accounting Associate prepares, computes, manages, researches and analyzes all accounting data, in order to provide quantitative information on performance, financial position, solvency, liquidity and cash flows of our business.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

 

  • Manage all accounting operations based on accounting principles
  • Prepare budget and financial forecasts
  • Deliver  financial statements on time
  • Conduct month-end and year-end close process
  • Collect, analyze and summarize account information
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns, balance sheet, profit/loss statement etc
  • Develop periodic reports for management
  • Audit financial transactions and document accounting control procedures
  • Keep information confidential and secure them with database backups
  • Keep up with financial policies, regulation and legislation

 

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

 

 

 EDUCATION

  • BS/BA/ in Accounting or Finance/ ICA & ACCA Level 2 preferred

 

EXPERIENCE

  • 2-4 years of Accounting experience

 

 

 

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Thorough knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures, knowledge in preparing management accounting, Attention to detail, analytical skills, ERP knowledge, CPA or CMA preferred

Production

Position/Title: Production Associate

POSITION SUMMARY

The production assistant is responsible for producing quality Emigoh products.  This position may aid in any part of production ranging from bottling, to packaging.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

  • Work may include labeling, sanitizing, filling, capping, preparation of cereals and/or packaging bottles
  • May need to transfer bottles/caps to production floor, or may need to transfer packaged bottles to cold room
  • May need to add store room ingredients into the machinery to mix and create product
  • May be responsible for recording  the quantity produced

 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

  • SHS or Diploma holder

EXPERIENCE

  • 0-1 year working expenrience

 

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Ability to follow steps, quality control, ability to work in a fast paced environment, ability to follow sanitation standards, some machine knowledge

The driver is responsible for a safe and timely transport of products from the office to customer locations

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

 

  • Work closely with the Sales Executive to create and execute a sales route
  • Monitor the van while the Sales Executive is working with the customer
  • May help move products from van to customer location if condition permits
  • May seek out prospective customers while on route, or during Sales executive interactions
  • Maintaining of Vans and motor bikes
  • Checking all licenses on Van or motorbike are up to date
  •  

 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

  • JHS / SHS  

EXPERIENCE

  • 1-3 years Driving Experience

Receptionist /Customer Service

Position/Title: Receptionist /Customer Service

POSITION SUMMARY

The Receptionist is responsible for scheduling meetings and appointments, making office supplies arrangements, greeting visitors and providing general administrative support to our employees. Ultimately, the receptionist is responsible for ensuring smooth operations within the office and helping to improve company procedures

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

  • Answer the phone to take messages or redirect calls to appropriate colleagues
  • Handle customer calls; keep track of complaints, redirect sales inquiries to Sales
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Providing information to clients or all those people who will call in the office or visit the office premise
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires
  • Partner with HR to update and maintain office policies as necessary
  • Plan in-house or off-site activities, like parties, celebrations and conferences
  • Assist in making travel arrangements and booking venues for conferences and events
  • Maintain files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible
  • Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
  • Update internal databases
  • Organize office operations and procedures
  • Monitor stocks of office supplies (paper clips, stationery etc.) and report when there are shortages
  • Schedule meetings and appointments
  • Perform other office duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

  • HND in Secretarianship  

EXPERIENCE

  • 1-2 years working experience

 

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Experience as a secretary, office management, customer service or receptionist preferred
  • Administrative skills , Time management skills, Ability to speak a second language is an asset (French)
  • Excellent Communication, attention to detail, Confidentiality, good organizational skills desired, MS Office Suite

Our History

We exist as a nutrition and health company. Our name was derived from the name YOMIGOH, daughter of the founder. Our maiden brand is Yomi. We started as catering services and evolved into a yoghurt manufacturing company as a result of the high demand for the freshly prepared yoghurt category of our products.

Our philosophy and fundamental purpose is to make the future better and worth living by building a first class organization that caters for its people, customers and the world through quality health and nutrition

Consolidation- Emigoh Ghana was finally incorporated in 2005 as a limited liability company (LLC) established by the company code 1963, Act 169 of the republic of Ghana. Now we produce varieties of yoghurt from both diary and plant source; Yomi and Yayo yoghurt.
